Grand Performances Bike Valet

Some of you asked about the Grand Performances series at California Plaza at 350 South Grand (where the Contemporary Art Museum is).  Please note the scheduled bike valets evening performances this summer are below. This is NOT a list of all of the performances, but only those with Bike Valet.

All performances are at 7pm or 8pm.  Parking is free for Fleet Street volunteers (although car pooling is suggested). The event is outdoors in the Plaza amphitheater. They will end NO later than 10:30 p.m.  There are two jobs. The first is to ask people their name and phone number and record the information. The second is to move and rack the bikes. Volunteers are needed for both services, but if you can only take information, that is fine. The valet will start 60 minutes before the event, which means arrival time is 90 minutes before the event start time, as it takes about 30 minutes to set up.  The events are free and it should generally be a rather relaxing time. They have done these concerts for many, many summers.  There is a wide variety of new and interesting places to eat in the quickly rejuvenating downtown area. And, who knows, by then Angel's Flight might even be in operation.
