It was an honor to have singer-songwriter Jenni Alpert (aka Cami) at the club's March 13 meeting. She presented an exceptional program about "Art of Xpression ~ Music & Arts Wellness Programs & Services." Jenni grew up with a supportive adoptive family who encouraged her to pursue music. She reunited with her birth father, Don Logsdon, nearly 30 years after he gave her up for adoption. She then helped him through his homelessness and recovery from drug abuse. Jenni and Don bonded by their love for music. Jenni founded "Fine Arts Revolution" (a 501 c3 nonprofit) in his honor. She also entertained the guests with her beautiful voice...singing one of the many songs she had written.
