Members are proud to say they were very busy in February and March. They lived Service Above Self and invite you to join them for volunteer opportunities in your area and to join this great club which has been doing “Goodery” since 1956.
February- Delivered Hygiene Kits to Haven Hills residents
- Held a fundraiser to support anti-human trafficking cause as well as holiday cards for seniors and veterans
- Cooked and served meals at the Rescue Mission
- Attended District 5280 Youth Breakfast
- Sponsored a clothing drive for Jenna Bruce to support anti-Human Trafficking
- Presented $2,000 Check to West Valley Food Pantry
March
- Sponsored and attended MAPS Charities event
- Packed, decorated, and sponsored duffel bags as well as assembled bikes for Foster Kids at Foster Love
- Served lunch to residents at The Woodlands
- Bought heavy duty blankets for the unhoused
Donated $750 to Days for Girls ND and volunteered at a hands-on event to make hygiene kits- Donated $2,000 to the Grateful Hearts Event honoring LAPD and LAFD on April 6th at Warner Center Park
- Donated $1,500 to the Ukrainian Church Project
- Donated $1,500 to Guru Ramdas Langar Sewa Society
- Donated tee shirts to the Interact students at Humanities High School sponsored by San Fernando Night Club
- Golfed in the Historic Filipinotown Rotary Club's Charity Golf Tournament
- Ordered holiday cards to be written by students and then to be distributed to seniors, the unhoused, and veterans
- Sponsored the District 5280 Ecuador Humanitarian Trip
- Ordered 1,000 gifts for children for the Ecuador Humanitarian Trip
- Presented $5,000 check to Optimist Youth Homes & Family Services
- Delivered 60 blankets to Pacific Lodge
- Inducted 3 new Rotarians to the club
