Two second grade school classes at the Wise School wrote thankful notes to hero soldiers this past month. That idea has generated great community supports with the kids writing and drawing notes. The Rotary Club of Woodland Hills partnered with schools and other non-profits to provide Thanksgiving cards for seniors, and unhoused or sheltered people all over the valley. Thank you to all the kids who did the great work. About 1,400 cards will be delivered to ONEgeneration seniors, Fairwinds Senior Living, Michael’s Meals, Hope the Mission Tiny Homes, Brandman Center for Seniors, SFV Rescue Mission, and Khalsa Care Foundation in Pacoima.Thank You Notes to Hero Soldiers
